Tinsukia Railway Station (TSK), 120km from Tezu. Major trains connect from Delhi (approx 40-48 hours, rupees 1000-3000), Mumbai (approx 50-60 hours, rupees 1500-4000), Bangalore (approx 60-70 hours, rupees 2000-5000).
State-run buses and private shared taxis operate from Tinsukia and Dibrugarh to Tezu. Journey time from Tinsukia is 4-5 hours, fare rupees 300-500. From Dibrugarh, 5-6 hours, fare rupees 400-600.
Tezu is connected by NH-15 and NH-52 (part of Asian Highway 1). From Guwahati, it is approx 500km, taking 12-14 hours. Road conditions vary, especially during monsoon. No significant tolls on this route. Inner Line Permit (ILP) or Protected Area Permit (PAP) is mandatory for entry into Arunachal Pradesh.
