From NJP, take shared jeeps (rupees 300-400 per person, 5-6 hours) or private taxis (rupees 2800-3800, 4-5 hours) to Rimbik.
No direct bus service to Rimbik. You must reach Darjeeling or Manebhanjan first. From Darjeeling, shared jeeps (rupees 150-200 per person, 3-4 hours) are available. From Manebhanjan, shared jeeps (rupees 100-150 per person, 2-3 hours) are more frequent.
Rimbik is 650km from Kolkata. Take NH12 to Siliguri, then state highways via Manebhanjan. Drive time is 16-18 hours. Road conditions are generally good until Manebhanjan, then become winding and sometimes rough. Expect minimal tolls on state highways.
