Renigunta Junction (RU) is a major railway hub. Frequent trains from Chennai (2.5-3 hours, rupees 150-300), Bengaluru (5-6 hours, rupees 200-400), Hyderabad (10-12 hours, rupees 300-700). Direct trains also from Delhi (28-32 hours, rupees 800-1500) and Mumbai (18-22 hours, rupees 600-1200).
APSRTC operates frequent buses from Tirupati (rupees 30, 30 min), Chennai (rupees 200-350, 3-4 hours), Bengaluru (rupees 400-600, 6-7 hours). Renigunta has a local bus stand. Private operators also run services.
Renigunta is on NH71 and close to NH16. 135km from Chennai (3-4 hours drive), 250km from Bengaluru (5-6 hours). Roads are generally good. Expect tolls of rupees 150-300 from Chennai.
