Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) and private operators run buses to Tinsukia from Guwahati (approx 10-12 hours, rupees 600-1000). From Tinsukia bus stand, take a local bus or shared sumo to Tingkhong (rupees 30-50, 30 minutes).
Tingkhong is connected via state highways to NH-37 and NH-15. From Guwahati, it is approx 485km, 10-12 hours drive. Roads are generally good but can be patchy in sections. Minimal tolls, mostly state road taxes.
