From Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore, take a train to Patna Junction (PNBE) or Barauni Junction (BJU), then connect to Madhepura. Journey from Delhi to Patna is 12-16 hours, rupees 500-1500. From Madhepura, take an auto or shared jeep (rupees 50-100, 30 minutes).

Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) and private operators run buses to Madhepura from Patna, Saharsa, and Purnia. From Madhepura bus stand, take local transport to Singheshwar. Journey from Patna to Madhepura is 5-6 hours, rupees 250-400.
