State-run (SBSTC, CSTC) and private operators run buses from Kolkata (Esplanade), Durgapur, and Asansol to Purulia. Journey from Kolkata takes 7-8 hours, fares rupees 250-400. From Purulia bus stand, take a local bus or auto-rickshaw to Para.
