Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) and private operators run buses to Darbhanga, Madhubani, Saharsa. From Darbhanga, local buses or shared jeeps to Madhepur take 1.5-2 hours, rupees 50-100. Terminals are usually near the main market.
Madhepur is connected by State Highways (SH 52, SH 75) to Darbhanga and Madhubani. It is approximately 175km from Patna via NH27. Drive time from Patna is 4-5 hours. Road conditions are variable, with some stretches being rough. Expect minimal tolls.
