Gurap Railway Station (GRP) is on the Howrah-Bardhaman Chord line. Frequent local trains from Howrah Junction (HWH). Journey from Howrah takes 1 hour 15 minutes, fare rupees 20-30. From Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore, take express trains to Howrah Junction, then a local train to Gurap.

Local and state buses connect Gurap to nearby towns like Tarakeshwar, Chinsurah, and Arambagh. Operators are mostly state-run (CSTC, SBSTC) or private. Journey time from Chinsurah is 1 hour, fare rupees 40-60. No direct long-distance buses.
