From Kolkata (Sealdah/Howrah), direct trains like Teesta Torsa Express or Radhikapur Express take 10-12 hours, fares rupees 200-800.
West Bengal Transport Corporation (WBTC) and private operators run buses to Raiganj from Siliguri (3-4 hours, rupees 150-250) and Kolkata (12-14 hours, rupees 400-800). From Raiganj, local buses or auto-rickshaws connect to Goalpokhar (1 hour, rupees 50-100).
Goalpokhar is located near NH12 (formerly NH34). It is approx 570 km from Kolkata, a drive of 12-14 hours. Road condition is generally good on NH12, but local roads can be rough. Approx tolls rupees 500-800.
