State transport (NBSTC) and private operators run buses from Kolkata (approx 16-18 hours, rupees 700-1200) and Siliguri (approx 5-6 hours, rupees 250-400) to Cooch Behar. From Cooch Behar bus stand, frequent local buses or shared auto-rickshaws connect to Gaibandha (approx 1 hour, rupees 50-80).
