Giridih Railway Station (GRD) is closer (approx 15 km) but has limited connectivity. From Parasnath, take a taxi or bus to Giridih, then local auto to Dhupiganj.
Regular state and private buses operate to Giridih from Dhanbad (approx 2-3 hours, rupees 100-150), Ranchi (approx 4-5 hours, rupees 200-300), and Kolkata (approx 10-12 hours, rupees 400-600). From Giridih bus stand, take a local shared auto to Dhupiganj (rupees 30-50, 30 minutes).
Dhupiganj is connected via local roads to Giridih, which is on State Highway 13. It is approx 100km from Dhanbad (2.5-3 hours drive), 170km from Ranchi (4-5 hours drive). Roads are generally decent but can have rough patches. Expect minimal tolls on state highways.
