APSRTC and private operators run buses from Visakhapatnam (rupees 300-400, 6-7 hours) and other nearby towns. Buses terminate at Bandarban Bus Stand. Services are infrequent and often crowded.
Bandarban is connected via State Highway 32, branching off from NH-16 near Visakhapatnam. It is 180km from Visakhapatnam, a 4-5 hour drive. Roads are generally good but can be narrow and winding in the hills. Expect minimal tolls.
