West Bengal Transport Corporation (WBTC) and private operators run buses. Terminals are at Tufanganj Bus Stand. Journey from Cooch Behar (approx 1 hour, rupees 40-60), Siliguri (approx 4-5 hours, rupees 150-250).
Tufanganj is on NH17 and NH317. It is 25km from Cooch Behar, 150km from Siliguri. Drive time from Guwahati is 5-6 hours. Roads are generally good. Expect minimal tolls on state highways.
