You can reach Rimbik by flying to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or taking a train to New Jalpaiguri (NJP). From there, hire a private taxi or take shared jeeps via Manebhanjan.

Entry to Rimbik Monastery and local tea gardens is free. However, you need to pay an entry fee for Singalila National Park if you are trekking, which is rupees 100 (Indians) and rupees 200 (foreigners).

Rimbik is generally safe for solo travelers. However, always trek with a local guide, especially in remote areas or inside the national park. Inform your homestay about your plans.

Skip Rimbik if you are looking for luxury resorts, bustling nightlife, or extensive shopping. It is a quiet, rural village focused on nature and trekking.
