You can reach Raniganj by air via Durgapur Airport (RDP), by train to Raniganj Railway Station (RNG), or by bus and road via NH 19.
Most attractions in Raniganj, like temples and viewing points, do not have entry fees. Maithon Dam has a small parking fee.
Raniganj is generally safe for solo travelers. Exercise standard precautions, especially after dark in less crowded areas.
