TNSTC, PRTC, SETC, and private operators run buses to Puducherry Bus Stand. Buses from Chennai take 3-4 hours, rupees 200-400. From Bengaluru, it takes 7-8 hours, rupees 500-800.
NH32 connects Puducherry from Chennai (155 km, 3 hours drive). NH45 connects from Villupuram. Roads are generally in good condition. Approximate tolls are rupees 150-250.
