From Bengaluru, direct trains are limited; consider trains to Tirupati or Katpadi and then local connection. From Tirupati, local trains take 1 hour, rupees 30-50.

APSRTC (Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation) operates frequent buses to Pakala. Terminals are in Chittoor (30 km), Tirupati (60 km), and Bengaluru (180 km). Journey time from Chittoor is 1 hour (rupees 50-70), from Tirupati is 1.5 hours (rupees 80-120), from Bengaluru is 4-5 hours (rupees 250-400). Private operators are limited.

Pakala is well-connected by state highways. It is located on SH61. From Bengaluru, take NH75 and then SH61 (approx 180 km, 4 hours drive). From Tirupati, take NH71 (approx 60 km, 1.5 hours drive).
