The best time to visit Labpur is from October to February. The weather is pleasant and cool, ideal for exploring the town and surrounding villages.

You can reach Labpur from Kolkata by road (4-5 hours by car/bus) or by train. Take a train to Bolpur Shantiniketan (BHP), then a local bus or auto to Labpur (30km).

Most attractions like the Dhatridevi Temple and local markets are free. Tarashankar Bandyopadhyay's House has a nominal entry fee of rupees 10 for Indians and rupees 50 for foreigners.
