The best time to visit Ghatal is from October to February. The weather is pleasant and mild, ideal for exploring.
You can reach Ghatal by bus from Kolkata (3-4 hours). The nearest train stations are Panskura (35 km) and Kharagpur (50 km), from where you can take a bus or auto-rickshaw. Kolkata (CCU) is the nearest airport.
