From Kolkata, take a local train to Namkhana (approx. 3 hours, rupees 30-50), then ferry to Bhola.
Regular state (WBTC) and private buses operate from Kolkata's Esplanade bus stand to Namkhana or Kakdwip. Journey time is approx. 3-4 hours, fare rupees 150-250. From Namkhana/Kakdwip, take a ferry to Bhola (approx. 1-2 hours, rupees 50-100).
Bhola is an island, so direct road access is not possible. Drive to Namkhana or Kakdwip (approx. 130-140km from Kolkata) via NH12. Drive time is 3-4 hours, depending on traffic. Road condition is generally good. Approx. tolls rupees 100-200. From there, take a ferry to Bhola.
